IQRAA Foundation, led by our CEO Umar Mahmud, recently engaged with UNICEF and key stakeholders to deepen our understanding of Accountability to Affected Populations—Complaint and Feedback Mechanisms (AAP-CFM). This crucial interaction provided us with essential insights into creating effective systems for addressing concerns and ensuring accountability within crisis-affected communities in Zamfara State.

UNICEF emphasized the critical need to prioritize children’s well-being and safeguarding in emergencies. With this new knowledge, IQRAA Foundation is now better positioned to collaborate with UNICEF and other partners to implement robust complaint and feedback mechanisms.

These systems will empower affected individuals, particularly children, to voice their needs and concerns, ensuring that our efforts truly serve the best interests of vulnerable populations in Zamfara State.
