A 2-DAY PCVE CAPACITY BUILDING WORKSHOP

THEME: Stakeholder Roles in Community Resilience & Community-Based Reintegration, Rehabilitation, and Reconstruction (CB-RRR)

HELD At: Darma Suite And Apartment, Zamfara State

We at IQRAA Foundation participated as a key member of the Partnership Against Violent Extremism (PAVE Network) in the implementation of a Preventing and Countering Violent Extremism (PCVE) project in Zamfara State, with vital funding from the Global Community Engagement and Resilience Fund (GCERF).

Our involvement in this workshop is part of a broader, community-centered initiative led by the North East Youth Initiative for Development (NEYIF) in collaboration with PAVE Network and the PCVE–Knowledge Innovation Resource Hub (KIRH).

The project aims to empower local civil society organizations (CSOs) to lead and sustain initiatives focused on PCVE and community resilience, aligning with the national policy framework.

During the workshop, the IQRAA Foundation engaged with a multi-stakeholder audience, including government representatives, traditional authorities, and other CSOs, focusing on:

Strengthening local capacities for sustainable peace and conflict resolution within Zamfara State. Developing community-driven solutions for peacebuilding and the reintegration of individuals affected by conflict.

Advocating for the importance of women and youth as proactive agents of social cohesion and transformation in affected communities.

This participation underscores the our commitment to building resilient communities and supporting context-driven PCVE practices across Nigeria’s Northwest region.
